Modern dance classes: Betty Jones and Fritz Ludin of Dances We Dance teach daily at Moiliili Community Center. They have recently returned from a five-month tour of teaching and coaching dancers at the American Dance Festival in North Carolina, the Limon School in New York City, dance centers in Japan and Switzerland and national conservatories in France.
Jones was also honored at a dance concert paying tribute to women in modern dance, Feb. 20 at Hollins College in Roanoke, Va.
