MONDAY, Feb. 24:

Singapore - Japan-Singapore conference on artificial intelligence. Through Feb. 27.

Paris - Court to rule on suit against Georgia Tech Lorraine by French language watchdogs trying to force the campus to translate its Internet site into French.

Oslo, Norway - Russia's Foreign Minister Yevgeny Primakov visits. Through Feb. 25.

Tripoli, Libya - Foreign ministers of the Organization of African Unity meet. Through Feb. 28.

Singapore - U.N. conference on lessons learned from peace-keeping exercises. Through Feb. 26.

Munich, Germany - A traveling exhibit on crimes committed by the German army in eastern Europe during World War II opens, amid protests from neo-Nazis, conservative local leaders.

Albany, N.Y. - Gov. George Pataki called for jury duty in Putnam County.

Newark, N.J. - U.S. District Judge Alfred M. Wolin will hold hearing on proposed billion-dollar settlement between Prudential Insurance Co. of America and up to 10.7 million of its policyholders.

Hackensack, N.J. - Death penalty phase to begin for Avi Kostner, who pleaded guilty to killing his two children in a bitter custody battle over their religious upbringing.

Newark, N.J. - U.S. District Judge Bissell to hold bail revocation hearing for Eric Wynn, a convicted stock manipulator who while on bail was among a group attending a White House coffee with President Clinton.

Los Angeles - Trial in a breach-of-contract lawsuit filed against Pamela Anderson Lee by a movie production company.

TUESDAY, Feb. 25:

London - Israeli President Ezer Weizman on visit. Through Feb. 27.

Maputo, Mozambique - International conference on land mines. Through Feb. 28.

Denver - Former President George Bush delivers keynote address at the annual fund-raising dinner for the University of Colorado at Denver College of Business and Administration.

Phoenix - Hearing on Gov. Fife Symington's effort to dismiss one of 23 federal indictments against him.

Houston - Harris County commissioners meet; among items to be voted on is county acceptance of the Houston Oilers offer of cash and property in exchange for getting out of its Astrodome lease a year early.

Santa Monica, Calif. - Trial-setting hearing for convicted Whitewater figure Susan McDougal in an embezzlement case.

Atlanta - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director David Satcher and Carter Center health policy director William Foege hold forum on diseases in the next millennium.

New York - 39th Annual Grammy Awards at Madison Square Garden.

Washington - American Airlines and Allied Pilots Association to begin arguments before Presidential Emergency Board (closed to media).

St. Louis - Sentencing of Joseph Paul Franklin, convicted in fatal synagogue sniper attack.
