"Forever Prom": Relive the magic at "The Best of Island Proms," a benefit for Manoa Valley Theatre, 6 p.m. Friday, Hawaiian Ballroom, Hawaiian Regent Hotel. Music, dancing, contests, a coronation and a silent auction. Ray Bumatai is the host; actors include Justin Brossier, Guy DeConte, Liz Schaller and Ka'ohi Yojo. Tickets $125; tables $1,250 and $1,500. Call 988-6131.

Bowl-A-Rama: Make reservations for your team of four by Friday for the Honolulu Advertising Federation tournament March 1. Teams from ad agencies, media and related businesses will take to the lanes at Fort Shafter Bowling Center from 6 to 9 p.m. to raise funds for the HAF Internship Program. Entry fee is $25 per person and includes three games (shoe rental not included). Call Cheryl Elkins at 842-7144.

Craft fair: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Kapiolani Park. Benefits the Arthritis Foundation.

Chicken sale: The Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce offers Teru-Yaki chicken for a fund-raiser, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Washington Intermediate School parking lot, 1633 S. King St. A half chicken costs $3.75. Call 949-5531 for details or to volunteer.

Fantasies in Chocolate: Sample delicacies donated by restaurants, bakeries and specialty shops 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, a benefit for the Hawaiian Humane Society. Admission is $25 or $55, including brunch, an exclusive hour of tasting and an appearance by chocolatier Alice Medrich, author of "Chocolate and Low-Fat Desserts" and "Cocolat - Extraordinary Chocolate Desserts." Country Western Dance: March 2, Ala Wai Palladium, 404 Kapahulu Ave. The fund-raiser for PACT's Kaneohe Community Family Center begins at 4 p.m. with an hour of dance lessons; mixers and couple and line dancing until 9 p.m. Admission $5; free for children. Call 235-7747.
