Yep, them Too Stupid Guys - Mochi and Cal Pai - are hitching up their trousers, donning their most righteous stretch polyester shirts and lame-o hats to get ready for the second annual Too Stupid Guys tricks.
In celebration of April Fool's Day, the holiest of holidays for the Stupid Guys, they are asking kids through age 14 to come up with stupid tricks they can perform "for the betterment of humanity," according to Cal Pai. "We'd like to send out the word to all young'uns in Hawaii to come up with them tricks, and we'll do 'em."
For last year's tricks, the Stupid Guys leaped from a moped into a giant whipped-cream pie, slid down a plastic runway covered with food and duct-taped themselves to the side of a building.
If you think you can top these tricks for stupidity, see the KO page in today's Star-Bulletin (the newspaper, not the computer screen) for details and an entry blank.
Prizes are a $100 savings bond and 10 movie tickets for first place, a $75 savings bond for second place and a $50 savings bond for third place.
The Stupid Guys will chose the tricks and will perform all three of them on April 1. (KHON-TV will likely broadcast the event, as it did last year.)
Says Cal Pai, the criteria for judging will be "originality, visuality and stupidity - all the 'ity' things like big-time contests have."
Says the reticent Mochi, "Help me wipe off this blood. When do we eat?"
