The Sounds of Freedom, above, a military group of runners, finish the
13th annual Great Aloha Run today. The 8.25-mile trek from
Aloha Tower to the Aloha Stadium drew 17,311 competitors.
Below, Sylvia Fisher won the women's race with a time of 48:22.
The men's winner was Tesfay Bekele of Ethiopia, with a time of 40:06.
