She joined the company in 1995 as a corporate trainer. Sato also worked MC&A Inc., in charge of human resource services, and for Locations Inc. (now Prudential Locations) as an administrative assistant.

Sato grew up in Wailua on Kauai and earned a bachelor's degree in political science/sociology from the University of Hawaii.

Computer Training Co. has a 17-member training staff in eight classrooms, and a mobile training program, to serve more than 75 organizations in Hawaii, Guam, and the mainland.
