Banquet and auction: The Windward Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, a national conservation group, welcomes new hunters, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6, Kaneohe Bay Officers' Club, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Auctions feature shotguns, rifles, artwork, decoys and clothing. Admission $50. Call 254-0277 or 254-5588.

Craft fair: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 8 and 9, Diamond Head end of Ala Moana Beach Park. Benefits Hawaii Meals on Wheels Inc., which serves isolated elderly and disabled people.

Breakfast Brunch: The Kauai chapter of the American Culinary Federation cooks up Danish pastry, eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, omelets and more for a fund-raiser, 7 to 11 a.m. Feb. 16, Queen Victoria Dining Room, Kauai Community College. Tickets $8 general, $4 children in advance; $10 and $5 at the door. Tickets available at Pono Market in Kapaa; Fish Express in Lihue; Kalaheo Coffee Co.; Koloa Fish Market; Hanalei Bay Resort, Princeville; and the college. Proceeds go to the college's Food Service Training Program.

Fantasies in Chocolate: Sample delicacies donated by restaurants, bakeries and specialty shops 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, a benefit for the Hawaiian Humane Society. Admission is $25 or $55, including brunch, an exclusive hour of tasting and an appearance by chocolatier Alice Medrich, author of "Chocolate and Low-Fat Desserts" and "Cocolat - Extraordinary Chocolate Desserts."
