Great Aloha Teen Run
on Monday

The Second Great Aloha Run Teen Run will be held on Monday, starting at 7 a.m. at the Aloha Tower Marketplace.

The race is limited to teens in grades 6 through 12.

Proceeds will benefit the Hawaii Youth Services Network.



CAREWDUE

Baseball Hall of Famer Rod Carew will attend the HUGS (Help, Understanding and Group Support) 15th Anniversary Achievement Award dinner on Jan. 24 at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.

Tickets can be reserved at $150 apiece by calling the HUGS Center at 732-4846.



DISC-FLYINGCONTEST

The 10th Kaimana Klassik Ultimate Tournament will be held Feb. 15-16 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Waimanalo Polo Fields.

There will be 20 teams (eight women's, 12 men's) from Australia, Canada, Hawaii and the mainland.

Ultimate is a non-contact field sport played by two seven-member teams. The object is to score goals by passing a plastic flying disc to a teammate in the end zone.
