Peter Struglinski, a University of Hawaii senior, has been named the Western Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week. Struglinski honored by WAC again
It is the second time this season Struglinski has been honored.
He had two victories in the recent Rainbow Invitational, winning the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events. His time of 2 minutes, 2:08 seconds in the 200 qualified him for the Senior Nationals.
Struglinski holds the best WAC time in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:59.29) and the second best in the 100-yard breaststroke (55.61). Both are NCAA provisional qualifying times.

Spencer Zaha, a 1989 graduate of Kaimuki High School, is believed to be the first Hawaiian raised and schooled youth ice hockey player to compete in an NCAA sanctioned league. ZAHA CLAIMS A FIRST
Zaha was one of 25 players to make the Buffalo (N.Y.) State College Bengals varsity.
The Bengals participate in the State University of New York Athletic Conference.
The State Department of Land & Natural Resources is offering free outdoor education classes Feb. 7 from 5:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., and Feb. 8 from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The classes will be held in the Kaneohe Agriculture Extension Service Building next to the police station OUTDOORS CLASSES
Subjects covered include: firearms and archery safety, survival and first aid, wildlife identification and conservation, rules and regulations, game care and outdoor responsibility.
The classes are open to anyone age 10 and above. Attendance at both classes is required.
