Before joining GST, she was the Hawaii district manager of the Military Communications Center Inc. The telephone center is used by military personnel for calls to family and friends. Bryant was responsible for operations, customer service, personnel and budget management.

She is a native of Olympia, Wash. and attended South Puget Sound Community College.

GST Telecom Hawaii is the local subsidiary of GST Telecommunications Inc., based in Vancouver, Wash. GST operates in 14 cities in the western United States and Hawaii.
