HILO - Matt Beaumont pitched five strong innings as the Hilo Stars completed a doubleheader sweep of the West Oahu CaneFires, 5-1, yesterday at Francis Wong Stadium.

In the opener, which was the completion of a game suspended Oct. 31, Robert Bonanno pitched three innings of relief to earn the win for the Stars.
