Ahi Poke in Steamed New Potato
5 new potatoes, 1-inch sizeSteam or boil potatoes 15 minutes or until cooked through but not soft. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until cold. Cut in half and create a potato "cup" by scooping out some potato.
6 ounces very fresh ahi, cut in 1/4-inch dice
2 tablespoons chopped macadamia nuts
2 tablespoons chopped ogo
2 tablespoons finely diced Maui onion
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
1 shiso leaf (beefsteak-plant or parella leaf), finely sliced
1 teaspoon Hawaiian sea salt
1 fresh Hawaiian chile pepper, finely choppedIn a bowl, combine ahi with remaining ingredients; mix. Fill potatoes with this poke mixture and garnish with ogo sprigs.
