
Molokai's Muleskinner coffee is featured at the
32nd annual HMAA food and products show tomorrow.

Savor free samples of rich-bodied Malulani Estate Coffee or robust dark-roast Muleskinner Coffee - both raised in the red, mineral-rich soil of Kualapuu. Just follow the heavenly aroma of roasting beans, because the Friendly Isle is sending over a 3-by-4-foot roaster plus coffees, T-shirts and caps for sale.
The four-day show expects more than 90,000 visitors to view food products such as Papaya John's papaya products, Maui Juicers natural juices, the Banana Bread Co. banana bread, Kona Coast confections, and It's Chili in Hawaii hot sauces, salsas, dips and chips.
Also, Cazi's Mini Laulaus, Maui Krunch, Cookies in Paradise, Powerbars, New England Rainbow Slush, and Dips & Seasonings crack seeds and party dips.
Show hours are 5 to 10 p.m. tomorrow, 5 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, noon to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $2 for adults, and $1.50 for youngsters 7 to 12. Call 945-3594.
Halloween pumpkins top this week's produce best buys at 16 cents a pound at Times, 23 cents at Foodland, 25 cents at Star, and 27 cents at Daiei.
Otherwise, grill a top sirloin steak for $1.99 a pound at Star, with a side of Waldorf salad featuring Fuji apples at 5 pounds for $1.99 at Safeway. And be on the lookout for fresh island a'u, or marlin, for $3.99 a pound at Foodland, kabocha pumpkin for 79 cents at Times, and Anjou, Bartlett or Bosc pears for 78 cents at Daiei.
