Hilo pitching
puts out the CaneFires

Hilo got five-hit pitching from four hurlers and catcher Sook Hyun Lim cracked a home run as the Stars defeated the West Oahu CaneFires, 4-1, yesterday at Hans L'Orange Park.

Sang Hyun Kim pitched shutout ball in the fifth and sixth innings to earn the victory.

At Wailuku, down 4-0 after two innings, Maui scored two runs in the third, one in the fourth and two in the fifth to overtake Honolulu.

Kyle Cooney, Jaime Jones, Shinya Miyamoto and Josh Booty, all had two hits for the Stingrays.

Mike Asche had a double and two RBIs for the Sharks.
