
Ala Moana Park's McCoy Pavilion is the site of the 1996 Bankoh Talk Story Festival.
The annual story-telling and oral history festival -- free to the public -- continues on Saturday from noon to 9 p.m.
The highlight will be the story-telling of Nona Beamer, composer and kumu hula at noon on Saturday.
Bring your beach chair. There will be a food booth but you may bring your own food and drinks (no alcohol). Information: 592-7029.
The festival, which will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., celebrates the Hispanic community and its contributions to island life. There also will be arts and crafts booths and cultural displays. Information: 545-4344 or 682-5101.
The show is a benefit for the Easter Seal Society of Hawaii.
The show runs from 6 to 11 p.m. tomorrow, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. Tickets at $6 for adults and $2 for children under 12 are available at the box office. Coupons for a $1 discount are available at CARQUEST stores.
