American Savings Mortgage Co., the mortgage subsidiary for American Savings Bank, is the new name for Associated Mortgage. The company has expanded its staff from two to seven loan officers.

Sodetani has 11 years in the mortgage industry. She was a partner at Residential Mortgage Corp., worked for Island Mortgage Corp., and served as sales manager with U.S. Bancorp Mortgage, now called Mellon Mortgage Co. She has a bachelor's degree in human development from the University of Hawaii.
