Borders: The Drama Club for ages 8 to 14 works on a skit for Halloween, 7 p.m. Thursday at the Waikele bookstore. Rehearsals, costumes and set design are the concerns this night.

Teddy Bear Fair: Bring your bear for a checkup at the Teddy Bear Hospital, and enjoy games, rides and stories and clowns, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu, 1822 Keeaumoku St. A live, 7-foot teddy bear will pose with you for photos. Admission is free. Call 532-1111.

"Children and Youth Day & Week": Bishop Museum hosts displays, demonstrations, activities and entertainment by the Makaha Sons, Frank DeLima, Leon & Malia and others, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the museum grounds.
