TOKYO - Takanohana stayed unbeaten today, maintaining his two-victory lead over Akebono and Musashimaru, two wrestlers from Hawaii, with four days left in the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament.

Yokozuna (grand champion) Takanohana improved his record to 11-0 by sending out Asahiyutaka, who had upset yokozuna Akebono, or Chad Rowan, yesterday.

Today, Akebono grabbed Akinoshima's belt, drove him to the ring's edge and crushed him down. improving his record to 9-2.

Musashimaru, or Fiamalu Penitani, also is 9-2 after thrusting out fellow ozeki (champion) Wakanohana.

Konishiki, or Salevaa Atisanoe from Hawaii, fell to 2-9 when he was sent out by Daishi.

In lower-division bouts involving wrestlers from Hawaii, George Kalima (7-4) won today while William Hopkins (5-6), John Feleunga (2-4) and Percy Kipapa (4-2) were beaten.
