He replaces Cliff Fitterer, who guided development of the company's wireless network for a year.
Brennan has some 15 years experience in telecommunications including cellular, satellite and network service.
He comes to Honolulu from Portland, where he was general manager of sales for U S West. He earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Tex.
