Clifford J. Treese to CFO

Clifford J. Treese, a national property management authority, has brought his expertise in insurance and risk management to the new position of chief financial officer at the real estate firm Chaney, Brooks & Co.

"Hopefully, this will mean better integration of our traditional operations with new advances in information technology to better serve our clients," Treese said. He joined the firm in May as executive vice president for development services and risk management and will retain that job.

Treese is a past national president of Community Associations Institute, a group that provides informational assistance to community associations.

He served CAI for about 20 years and received the organization's distinguished service award. Treese also has authored numerous articles on community insurance and risk management.
