
Riggin Soule broke five records at the U.S. Masters National Long Course Swimming Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich., in the 90-94 division.
McLachlin won the individual title at the Junior America's Cup golf tournament, and led the Hawaii team to its first team championship since 1978.
Riggin Soule and McLachlin will be honored at Monday's meeting of the Honolulu Quarterback Club at Flamingo Chuckwagon.
Guest speakers will be University of Hawaii head football coach Fred vonAppen, Honolulu Touch Tackle League director Rick Berrios and KHNL reporter Lyle Galdeira.
The luncheon meeting starts at 11:30 and is open to the public.
The international series totals 16 races - 10 cross country and six downhill. The downhill will be held on St. Louis Heights tomorrow with the women's semifinal beginning at 10 a.m. and the men's semifinal starting at noon. The women's final is scheduled for 3 p.m.; the men's final for 3:30 p.m.
The cross country events will be held Sunday at Kualoa Ranch. The women's race starts at 10 a.m. and the men's begins at 1 p.m.
