Chambrella services begin on Sunday

Michael G. Chambrella, 64, of Kapolei, president of Hawaii Teamsters Local 996, will be remembered in services Sunday and Monday.

Chambrella, who died Saturday at home, is survived by wife Janie M.; sons Michael A. and Wayne; brother Frank Jr., and sister Eileen Neves.

Ashelyn Castillo, infant daughter of Gilbert and Shirley Castillo of Pearl City, died Aug. 26 in Kapiolani Hospital. She is also survived by brothers Rynne, Branden and Austin; grandparents Honorio and Felipa Ronquillo, and Orlando and Milma Castillo; and great-grandparents Agapita Tamayo and Feliciano Castillo. Richard T. Ching, 85, of Honolulu, a Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Shop 38, retiree, died Aug. 28 in Straub Hospital. Bang Hwa Choi, 83, of Rowland Heights, Calif., died last Thursday in Straub Hospital. Arcadio C. Cubero, 76, of Pearl City, a retired Hickam Air Force Base heavy equipment operator, died last Thursday in Kapiolani Hospital at Pali Momi. James T. Fukuda, 61, of Yokohama, Japan, formerly of Kona, Hawaii, proprietor of Fukuda and Associates Co., died Aug. 28 in Yokohama, Japan. James O. Kutsunai, 68, of Hilo, a public relations director for Homelani Memorial Park and service regional manager for Primerica Financial Services, died Tuesday in Kuakini Hospital. Gail B. Le Doux, 50, of Honolulu, head caterer for Iolani School, will be remembered in services Tuesday. Le Doux, who saved a 10-year-old boy from raging Waiamao Stream, was found dead Sunday near the entrance to Waiamao trail. She is survived by husband Ben E.; sons Joseph and Pierre; daughters Monica and Tricia; mother Florence Procter; brothers Robert and George Procter Jr.; sister Arnette Ramos; and four grandchildren.
