OPENING

"Pas de 2": The UH Department of Asian Studies presents two award-winning plays from the Philippines, 8 p.m. Saturday, UH-Manoa's Music Building, Room 36. Agapito Joaquin's "The Tin Roof" (original title "Bubungang Lata") engages poverty and dreams in battle in the slums of Manila. "Seven Years!" ("Pitong Taon"), by Purita and Fidel Sicam, parodies a courtship on the brink. With Hoku Akiu, Dwayne Dumlao and Tess Zarsoza. Directed by Boots Pascual. Repeats 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 7 and 8. "The Hula Mooners": Plate Lunch Theatre presents a local version of "The Honeymooners," with Ray Bumatai, Cyndi Mayo Souza, Cora Lei Rivera and Bruce Hale. Directed by Karen Brilliande. "Ten Percent Revue": Tom Weinberg's musical comedy celebrates the triumphs and tragedies of gay and lesbian life.
