OPENING

"Pas de 2": The UH Department of Asian Studies presents two award-winning plays from the Philippines, 8 p.m. Saturday, UH-Manoa's Music Building, Room 36. Agapito Joaquin's "The Tin Roof" (original title "Bubungang Lata") engages poverty and dreams in battle in the slums of Manila. "Seven Years!"
