Learning to share with Uncle Sam

One of the biggest lessons for kids entering the working world is dealing with the tax bite


Maybe they mowed lawns, taught tennis or scooped cones at the local ice cream joint.

Whatever jobs your kids have been doing this summer, it's a good idea to get them to take a closer look now at the tax consequences and financial-planning opportunities. Doing those calculations can give them a better handle on their finances, both short-term and long-term.
