Gymnastics, surfing at
Bishop Museum

Bishop Museum is hosting a day devoted to gymnastics and surfing Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Former Olympic gymnast Kathy Johnson-Clark, a bronze medal winner on the balance beam in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, will sign autographs and offer tumbling, conditioning and workout tips.

There will be exhibitions by local gymnastic clubs and aerobic lessons.

There will be two showings of "Youngbloods," featuring Hawaii's hottest surfers, demonstrations, displays and a chance to meet some of Hawaii's top surfers such as Brock Little, Michael Mullen, Rainos Hayes, Fred Hemmings, Elwin Kaneshiro and Stan Ishikawa.
