Pauly Shore



Comedian and dad shore up laughs

Expect extreme weirdness when Pauly Shore shows just where he got his 'tude. The comedian is bringing his act to Hawaii Theatre Friday and he's bringing along his dad, Sammy Shore, for laughs. The father-and-son show starts at 8 p.m.

Reserved tickets are $15 and $20 and are available at the theatre and Connection outlets or by phone at 545-4000.



It's all Greek

It's time for the Greek Festival again. The annual event takes place Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Beach Park.

Food, music, dance, a silent auction, jewelry and clothing sales are all part of the festival, sponsored by Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Admission is free. Information: 521-7220.



Surf's up at museum

Hawaii hottest pro surfers and surfing legends will share their love of the sport at Bishop Museum Sunday.

A special program called "SURFING!" will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature autograph sessions, videos, board-shaping, surfing techniques and water safety tips. There also will be a display of ancient boards, some of which were owned by Duke Kahanamoku..

Admission is $14.95 for adults, $11.96 for youths 6 to 17 and seniors. Kamaaina rates are $7.95 for adults, $6.95 for youths 6-17 and seniors. Children under 6 are free. Information: 848-4187.
