Kinko's laminates cards
to save from wear, tear

QUESTION: Is there anywhere on Oahu that I can get my Medicare and other cards sealed in plastic? A small store in my neighborhood used to do this but it is closed now. All my cards are getting frayed.

ANSWER: Try one of the Kinko's Copies locations in Pearl City, on Kapiolani Boulevard, Beretania Street, or Bishop Street. The charge to laminate one wallet-sized card is $1.25, said Dave Hamil, manager. Several cards can be placed on one sheet, laminated, and then cut apart. Photos, posters and other items also may be laminated. Sizes range up to 24 inches wide and any length.

Many other printers also do laminations. For a shop near you, check printers in the Yellow Pages phone book starting on Page 853.
