Speedsters can pick their skating distance, from one to 10 miles, then go for it, just for fun. But put on your knee and elbow pads, wrist guards and a helmet so no one has to get swept off the asphalt.

Participants can also raise money for the United Cerebral Palsy Association by collecting pledges. Collect $50 worth of pledges and receive a water bottle and $3 gift certificate from Pretzelmaker. Collect $100 and receive a Roller Hockey Puck and Blockbuster Video "Wednesday Night" card. Collect $500 and receive a new pair of Rollerblade In-Line Skates. Best yet, the person who collects the most pledges over $500 will receive a $500 shopping spree at Windward Mall. Whoa! ... what are you waiting for? The cost to enter is $15 and applications are available at participating Windward Mall stores. Those under age 18 will need a parent's or guardian's signature to participate.
