Bowl For Kids' Sake: Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Maui offers team competition, food, prizes and a silent auction, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Aloha Bowling Center in Kahului. Teams consist of five bowlers, with each asked to raise a minimum of $50 in donations -- the bowler who raises the most money wins a trip for two to Las Vegas. "Tee Off for Humanity" tournament: Kuakini Foundation fund-raiser features a reception 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6 in the Hale Pulama Mau Auditorium and the golf tournament 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Pearl Country Club. Call 547-9296.

Heart Walk: The American Heart Association fund-raiser begins and finishes at Kapiolani Park on Aug. 10. Participants in the 5.5-mile walk collect donations. Those who raise more than $100 receive prizes; the one who raises the most donations wins a neighbor island getaway for two. Call 538-7021.

Dinner and concert: Benefit to resurrect the auditorium, Aug. 12, Farrington High School. Dinner at 5 p.m.; tickets $50. Show begins 7 p.m.; tickets $25. Governor's Circle tickets $150; includes reserved seats for dinner and show. Call 832-3600.

"Once Upon a Dream" fashion show: Liberty House produces an elegant luncheon and fashion show featuring the St. John Fall collection, Aug. 17 in the Sheraton Waikiki Hawaii Ballroom.
