Support the 26th annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival by purchasing this $2 button showing a donkey enjoying some of Kona's finest brew.

Kona brews up coffee button

Kona resident and graphic artist Sunny Pauole came up with the winning design for the 26th annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, which takes place on the Big Island in November.

Pauole's design, selected from more than 50 entries, features a donkey sipping brew. Donkeys were once employed to transport Kona coffee from fields to mills.

Proceeds from sales of the $2 button will help provide funding for festival events and programs, and Pauole's winning design will also be featured on T-shirts, coffee cups and caps on sale during the event.

For more information about the festival, call 326-7820 on the Big Island, or send e-mail to greatpr@ilhawaii.net
