GRANTS

The Grantsmanship Center: Grantsmanship Training Program, learn to write grant proposals in a five-day workshop, Aug. 26 to 30, Maui Research and Technology Center, Kihei. The workshop covers researching for grants, learning to use the center's proposal writing format, negotiating with funding sources and online grant information systems on the Internet.

Cost $595 per person and $545 for each additional person and includes materials. Partial scholarships available through the County of Maui. Call 875-2307.
