You can buy M*A*S*H
on videotape; here's how

QUESTION: I have been diagnosed as having cancer and read somewhere that humor can help people like me. I really enjoyed the television series M*A*S*H and would like to know if it can be purchased.

ANSWER: The television series, which was based on the 1970 movie and a book written by Dr. Richard Hornberger, lasted for 11 years with 251 episodes. Columbia House has released some of the episodes of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital on video as part of its club collection. The first tape costs $4.95 (plus shipping). The remaining tapes, shipped in 4- to 6-week intervals, cost $19.95 (plus shipping) each.

Columbia House can be reached by calling 1-800-457-0866. The address is 1400 North Fruit Ridge Ave.; Terre Haute, Ind. 47811.
