Good idea recycled

The City & County of Honolulu's "Art of Recycling" calendar, featured in the Star-Bulletin several months ago, has won the First Place Gold Award in the Calendar Marketing Association's National Calendar Awards competition.

Produced in partnership with the Hawaii Publishers Association, designed by Goodson + Yu Design and photographed by Shuzo Uemoto, the calendar combined images of recycled artworks with hard information on recycling in Honolulu.

The City is going ahead with a 1997 edition of the calendar. For information on purchasing or sponsoring, call 537-2323.
