IT'S a tragic shock when someone like Terry Luke, whom you've been working with for 30 years, suddenly is not there. Terry, 68, died Sunday after suffering a stroke. Terry's remarkable photos have been well documented, but not everyone knows of the kindness of the man. For example, there he was at Barney Isaacs' huge funeral and musical tribute, taking photos from beginning to end without being asked, just so Barney's widow, Cookie, would have the invaluable pictures. He did the same for me when I had a memorial gathering for my wife. Terry was a guy who was always there for you. He will be missed tremendously. Condolences go out to Terry's wife, Eleanor, and sons Kyle, Keith and Kregg, and daughter, Keely, a professional photographer as her dad was. It was tough seeing Keely and Kregg this week when they came to the office to pick up Terry's things. But exchanging words and hugs goes a long way ...A DRIVE HAS been launched to buy a seat at the Hawaii Theatre for actor-director Tommy Aguilar, who died of AIDS in May 1993.
