The gourmet foods purveyor will be hosting a buying event, with a variety of culinary demonstrations. Kumu Farm's Julie Lopez will be introducing the farm's new Tomato Pesto Sauce; Arturo's will be introducing new flavors of tortillas; Nalo Farm's owner Dean Okimoto will be displaying and offering samples of his Nalo Greens salad mix; Barbara Gray will be demonstrating Oils of Aloha's new Pele line; and Coffee Works will be offering espresso shakes.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the cost is $10 for adults and $7 per child age 12 and under. (Receive with each paid admission a $5 off coupon for purchases of $25 or more made that day.)

The event takes place 5:30 to 8 p.m. across from Ward Centre, at 1160 Auahi St. and will feature close to 100 different beers, non-alcohol beverages and sparkling waters.
Participants will also be treated to live jazz and blues. And of course there's no beer tasting on an empty stomach. Appetizers will be provided by Broke the Mouth, Hooters and the Old Spaghetti Factory at a nominal cost.
But sorry kids, only those age 21 and older will be admitted.

Admission to classes is by scrip, with each session running $5. Register at the Wine and Beer Tasting Center at the event, running June 29 and 30 at the Honolulu Civic Center.
For $40 a person, including tax and tip, sample three cigars from the Cigar Room; a premium blend of Scotches by JB J.E.T.; the shiraz and chardonnay wines of Geyser Peak; pupu; and a hosted bar featuring Gordon Biersch beers.
