
Taclan, at 41, won the overall title at the Hawaiian Islands Bodybuilding Championship at the Blaisdell Center Concert Hall on Saturday.
The manager of the Spa Fitness Center, who also captured the light heavyweight and masters divisions, beat bantamweight Clifton Torres, lightweight Rudy Benigno, middleweight Greg Abernathy and heavyweight Darryl Miller for the evening's top prize.
Brian Ikeda took the title of Junior Hawaiian Islands and Lisa Loney won the Hawaii Fitness contest.
Sweeper James Woolridge, who just joined the team, scored the Tsunami goal off Chris Gilmore's corner kick.
"Fortunately, they only get one point for a shootout victory," Tsunami coach Andrew Rowley said. "They are in second place (in the Pro League) and we play them at home this weekend in two very critical games for us if we hope to make the playoffs."
The Tsunami (4-8 overall, 3-5 Pro League) play the Golden Eagles (7-6 overall, 7-3 Pro League) at Pearl City High School Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at Konawaena High School at 3 p.m.
Devin Hermosura shut out the Movers on four hits over four innings as his teammates built an 8-0 lead. Reliever Brandon Sagara saw his lead evaporate as the Movers scored six runs in the final three innings to close to 11-9.
In the bottom of the ninth, the Movers had the tying run at the plate with one out and Sean Takamori on second. Sagara struck out Key Voshell then got Darren Blakely to fly out to end the game.
Cory Ishigo, Nohili Naumu and Chris Garnett all drove in two runs for the Alumni.
The Movers were led by Jaime Aloy's 4-for-5 outing.
Young defeated Dennis Salvatierra, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6, and Poon topped Andy Long, 6-2, 6-3.
In the men's doubles final yesterday, Chris Bown and Richard Sotelo beat Frank Delgaudio and Jeff Urie, 7-6, 7-5.
Kathy Barcia finished first in the women's division in 33:31.
