Floating for a festival

The Nebuta float, a creation depicting a fierce Japanese warrior, will be the highlight of a mini parade Saturday, part of the Pan-Pacific Festival - Matsuri in Hawaii. The parade begins at 6 p.m. and runs along Kalakaua from Kaiulani Avenue to Seaside. From 7 to 10 p.m. there will be a block party along Kalakaua between Lewers Street and Kaiulani Avenue. The festival continues through June 23. Information: 924-8804.
