Nuuanu petroglyphs and archaeology: Willis H.A. Moore of the Hawaii Geographic Society leads a walking and lecture tour to the Board of Water Supply water system, Kapena Falls, the Royal Mausoleum and other sites near downtown Honolulu, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Casual clothes, walking shoes and bug repellent recommended. Costs $5. Call 538-3952.

Temple walking tour: Visit Kwan Yin Buddhist Temple, a Shinto shrine, St. Andrew's Cathedral and other spiritual places in downtown Honolulu with Willis H.A. Moore of the Hawaii Geographic Society, noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. One and a half miles. Costs $5. Call 538-3952.

Tropical plant nature walk: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden, Kaneohe. Free; bring walking shoes, bug repellent and rain gear. Reserve at 233-7323. The garden offers free walks 10 a.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. Sundays in June.
