
The Wahine (31-1), ranked No. 2 at the end of the regular season, will take on top-seeded Florida in the first semifinal Aug. 23. The Cornhuskers, with Hawaii prep star Fiona Nepo starting at setter, face the Redbirds in the second semifinal of the event sponsored by the National Association of Collegiate Women's Athletic Administrators.
The third-place game is scheduled for 2 p.m. HST and will be followed by the title match. Both semifinals will be televised live on ESPN2 with the championship match live on ESPN.
Tournament passes are $10 for both nights while single-session tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for ages 14-under. Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets at $4 per person per session.
Tickets are available by calling 309-438-8000. Last year, Hawaii, Nebraska and Florida had a combined 98-4 record.
Hawaii led the nation in attendance in 1995, averaging 6,042 fans a match. Nebraska, whose only loss of the season was to Stanford in last year's NACWAA tournament, was second (3,829), with Florida third (2,559) and Illinois State sixth (2,019).
The party begins at 5:30 p.m. at Punahou's Alexander Field, and musical entertainment will be provided by Kapono, Nalani Olds, Kualoa and Tropical Breeze.
The cost of $25 per person includes dinner, a gift and contribution to the Dave Eldredge endowment fund. Ten dollars is tax deductible.

The fee for resident campers is $325. The commuter fee is $225. For information, send a self-

The camp is free and open to the first 1,200 youngsters, age 7-17, who turn their applications.
