CONTINUING

"Flower Drum Song": Army Community Theatre presents the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical comedy about two generations of Chinese in the American melting pot. Directed by J. Thomas Kidd, musical direction by Jennifer DeMello and choreography by Vernon Campbell and Kidd. Cast includes Lori Miyamoto, Jodi Leong and Brian Yanagi. "Say It Ain't So, Joe, Or the Miracle of Saint Fungo": Lanikai Mortgage Players present a melodrama involving baseball in the 1890s, then an olio featuring vaudeville and barbershop-quartet songs. "The Watcher of Waipuna": Businessmen and a greedy sister urge a man possessed by different personalities to sell his property. Keith K. Kashiwada directs his adaptation of Gary Pak's black comedy. DANCE

Iona Pear Dance Theatre: The modern dance group celebrates the reopening and its own 10th anniversary with "The View From Above," 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Hawaii Theatre. Program includes "The Ballad of You and Me," "Eve" and "Returning to Water," and composer Robert Aeolus Myers will perform. Tickets $25 and $30 general, $20 students and seniors.
