The poles, about 8 inches in diameter and 4 feet tall, apparently are protectors for an Oceanic box for meters or lines near 718 Hind Iuka Drive. There was an accident about six months ago and the poles got bent over so they now look like two spears sticking out or facing forward. It could be really serious if another car hit them head on. We've tried, without success, to get Oceanic to either straighten them or remove them.
ANSWER: Cable on Wednesday confirmed the poles are the company's.
