Sense and Sensibility

Jane Austen's novels of 18th-century English life begin with money and end with love, which is why they are so popular today, when so much tends to begin with love and end with money. Add Emma Thompson, a crisp and indispensably clever leading lady, and genteel heartthrob Hugh Grant. Thompson received an Oscar for her adaptation of the book. At 6 and 8:45 p.m. daily, Wednesday through June 2; $3.50. (PG)
