Montgomery in
Bankoh corporate banking post

Bank of Hawaii's national lending activities from Hawaii to Arizona will be in the hands of Henry "Buddy" Montgomery. A big part of that involves media lending, from motion pictures to television productions and cable projects to wireless communications deals.

"We've had a specialized media group since the late 1980s," Montgomery said. "It has grown to a $1.5 billion portfolio (loans the bank keeps). That's one of our larger single portfolios."

Montgomery was formerly vice president and manager of Bankoh's communications/media industry group. He joined Bankoh in 1985 as a loan supervisor, after working five years for South Carolina National Bank.

Montgomery earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at Wofford College in South Carolina and a master's degree in business administration at the University of South Carolina.
