Kokea Street resurfacing
will be done by year's end

QUESTION: What can we do to get Kokea Street resurfaced between Olomea and King streets? It is in very bad shape and we have to travel on it often.

ANSWER:That section of Kokea is among a group of streets being put together for a resurfacing project that will be going out to bid in June, said Albert Miyashiro, assistant chief of the city's Division of Road Maintenance.

The resurfacing of all the streets in that contract should be completed in December.
