Bishop Museum urges kindness toward pets

Pet owners and animal lovers will find lots to keep them busy at the annual Hawaiian Humane Society Be Kind to Animals Week celebration May 5 at the Bishop Museum.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature games, displays, arts and crafts, entertainment and, of course, lots of animals - birds, rabbits, dogs, horses and others.

There also will be exhibits and activities from Sea Life Park, Aloha Land Petting Zoo and others.
