FRIDAY

Ohana Festival: St. Louis School offers food, games, craft fair, hula and more, 2 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. May pageant noon Friday in McCabe Gym.

"Smiles by the Sea" concert: The Honolulu Boy Choir and comedian Augie Tulba perform, 7:30 p.m., Calvary by the Sea Lutheran Church. Donations go to the Angel Network, which shelters homeless families, the Winner's Camp for teens and the Calvary Creative Arts Camp for children ages 6 to 12. Call Naomi Chung at 373-9315. SATURDAY

Craft fair: Gifts for Mother's Day and Boy's Day, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Manoa Elementary School. Crafts, food and fresh vegetables. Call 595-6987.

Craft fair: Items from about 100 artisans and crafters, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Ala Moana Beach Park, Diamond Head end. Benefits the American Diabetes Association.

Filipino Fiesta and Parade: Food, cultural demonstrations and entertainment, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Kapiolani Park. Free admission. Call 521-3044.

Flores de Mayo Parade of more than 100 bands and floats begins 9:30 a.m. May 11 from Ala Moana Beach Park to Kapiolani Park.

Book sale: Books, magazines and audiovisual items, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Kaimuki Library. Price range is 25 cents to $5. Call 733-8422.

"Dragonflies and Damselflies": Hawai`i Nature Center's benefit party features fine cuisine, silent auction, dancing and an "Encounter with Nature" to inspire creativity and a connection with the environment, 6 p.m., the Walker Estate in Nuuanu. Tickets $100 general, $75 members. Tables $3,000 and $5,000; includes admission to Maui's first "Night with Nature" Aug. 24 at the new Iao Valley Discovery Center. Call 955-0100.
