Visitor Industry Charity Walk: The Hawaii Hotel Association 18th annual walk starts from McCoy Pavilion, Ala Moana Beach Park, May 18. This fund-raiser for hundreds of nonprofit organizations in Hawaii consists of a seven-mile tour through Waikiki to Kapiolani Park and the Ala Wai Canal, then back to the beach. 6th Annual Office Olympics: Teams of four co-workers compete in rubber-band archery, wastebasket free throw, coffee cup relays and other office sports in June, a benefit for the American Lung Association of Hawaii. These Olympics take place June 6 on Kauai, June 13 on Maui and in Hilo, and 6 to 9 p.m. June 20 at Aloha Tower Marketplace.
Teams pay a registration fee of $125 and ask friends to make pledges on behalf of their team.
