David Cassidy of "The Partridge Family" TV show fame will host Bally Cares, a fund-raising event to benefit the Life Foundation, on April 26.The event will be held at the Bally of Switzerland store at 2270 Kalakaua Ave.
Cassidy will be introducing chefs from Hawaii restaurants who are providing pupus for the event which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.
A silent auction will highlight the event and the store will be donating a portion of sales to the foundation.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature games, displays, arts and crafts, entertainment and, of course, lots of animals - birds, rabbits, dogs, horses and others.
There also will be exhibits and activities from Sea Life Park, Aloha Land Petting Zoo and others.

Shai scored double platinum sales with their debut release "If Ever I Fall In Love" and have released their follow-up project "Blackface."
The four members of Shai for the group while they were students at Howard University.
Keith Sweat is described as a neo-traditionalist, in the manner of Dwight Yoakam, while the Dove Shack is described as a G-funk band from Long Beach, Calif.
