
Among those being recognized for 4.0 grade-point averages the past two semesters are volleyball players Yuval Katz and Sivan Leoni. Also with 4.0s are basketball player Michelle Macintyre and swimmer Lar Jonas Brodin.
The ceremony will take place between Games 2 and 3. The event is held in conjunction with National Student-Athlete Day.
Healthy adults, 18 years or older (17 year olds can donate with a signed parental consent form) who weigh at least 110 pounds can probably give blood. The donation takes about an hour, and includes a mini-physical prior to the donation and refreshments afterward.
All donors are asked to bring a valid picture I.D.
On Saturday, Damien plays St. Louis at 9 a.m., Mid-Pacific takes on Punahou at noon and Kamehameha meets Iolani at 3 p.m.
On April 20, University High School/Hawaii Baptist Academy plays Iolani at 9 a.m., Kamehameha meets Mid-Pacific at noon and Punahou plays St. Louis at 3 p.m.

The A Division team of Jesse Andrews and Heather Akita finished in second place. The B Division team of Pat Whitmarsh and Kathleen Hoganson were fourth overall.
