Bishop Museum, 1525 Bernice St., 847-3511: "The Kona Coffee Story" examines the growth of the Hawaii industry and shows how coffee is made, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through May 12. Admission $7.95 general, $6.95 youths, seniors and military, free for children under 6. "Kaho`olawe" offers a "hike" to 10 wahi pana (places of story) around the island recently returned to the people of Hawaii, through May 19. "Faces of Papua New Guinea" portrays the Iatmul, Abelam and Kwoma people through their architecture and ceremonial objects, through May 19. Andy Bumatai narrates the program "Aloha Kilolani: 35 Years of Hawaiian Skies" - a look at the Planetarium's history and past topics - 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily, and 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Hawaii's Plantation Village, 94-695 Waipahu St., 677-0110: "Into the Marketplace," a traveling exhibition based on the stories of working women in Hawaii, 1900-1940, is on display in the gallery, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily except Sundays, through June 29. Produced by the Hawaii Committee for the Humanities. Free admission. Waverly Lowell from the National Archives, Pacific Sierra Branch, gives a slide lecture on documents that affected Asian immigration to Hawaii in the early 1900s, titled "Exclusion from Paradise," 7 p.m. March 22. Guided tours each hour, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donation $5 general, $3 students and seniors, free for children younger than 5.

Judiciary History Center, Ali`iolani Hale, 417 S. King St., 539-4999: "Hawaii Under Martial Law" during World War II, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, or on weekdays by appointment.

Mission Houses Museum, 553 S. King St., 531-0481: Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. Admission $5 general; discounts available. A Thursday morning walking tour of nearby historic sites traces Honolulu's growth from village to capitol of the Hawaiian kingdom. Costs $7 general; $6 kama`aina; $4 college students; $3 youth. Pacific Aerospace Museum, Terminal Box 7, Honolulu International Airport, 839-0777: High-tech exhibits commemorate aviation and aerospace achievements in the Pacific. Open daily. Admission $3 general, $2.50 students, seniors and military, $1 children.

Tropic Lightning Museum, Carter Hall, Waianae Avenue, Schofield Barracks, 655-0438: Exhibits on the Barracks and the 25th Infantry Division in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Free admission 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

U.S. Army Museum, Battery Randolph, Fort DeRussy, Waikiki, 438-2821: Exhibits on Hawaii's military heritage, focusing on the Army. Free admission 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.

USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, 11 Arizona Memorial Drive, 423-1341: Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission $8 general, $6 kama`aina, military and seniors, $3 children.

Wildlife Museum, 1190 Dillingham Blvd., 848-0660: Exhibit of animal specimens from six continents, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Admission $6.95 adults, $3.50 juniors ages 13 to 17, $2.50 juniors ages 6 to 12, free for kids younger than 6.
